ROCKVILLE, Md. — Jan. 29, 2026 — Diapers 2 Deposits, Inc. (D2D), a premier financial literacy provider, and Montgomery College’s Workforce Development and Continuing Education (WDCE) division today announced a landmark partnership to launch a comprehensive financial literacy series for 2026. This collaboration introduces three specialized programs designed to bridge the "financial capability gap" for youth and young adults across Montgomery County.
As traditional education systems face increasing pressure to provide practical life skills, this partnership delivers an AFC®-backed curriculum that translates complex economic concepts into actionable life habits. The series marks a significant expansion of Montgomery College’s commitment to workforce readiness, offering students recognized academic credentials through Continuing Education Units (CEUs).
“Financial literacy is the foundation of workforce success,” said Whitney Ramirez, Program Director of Diapers 2 Deposits. “Our partnership with Montgomery College ensures that students aren't just getting a certificate; they are getting a survival kit for the modern economy. From understanding a first paystub to navigating the complexities of the stock market, we are empowering the next generation to lead with financial confidence.”
The 2026 workforce series includes three pillar programs:
Money Club: Ready for Payday! – A foundational course on budgeting and banking.
Investor’s Club: Investing 101 – An advanced exploration of wealth building and market simulations.
Life Skills: Adulting 101 – A transition-focused program featuring D2D’s signature FinancialField Trips® at local car dealerships.
The partnership leverages D2D’s nationally recognized expertise, including its recent 2024 AFCPE® Educational Program of the Year award, and Montgomery College’s robust educational infrastructure. Programs will be available at multiple locations, including the Rockville Campus and the East County Educational Center in Silver Spring.
